Everything you need to create a Cohort Chart

In just three steps, you will have your cohort analysis fast, easy, and free.

Identifiers: The ID of objects that you want to analyze. For example, userID, eventID.

Date: The date on which activity of the object has been recorded. For example, purchase date, login date.

Please note: The format of date IS IMPORTANT. It must follow one of the generally 3 types of JavaScript date input formats:

The time part HH:MM:SS (e.g., 08:25:53) is optional

Value (optional): The amount has been generated from the action of the object. For example, revenue, order amount.

If rows are duplicated, MakeCohort will drop them during the data process. However, we encourage you to remove the identical records beforehand for faster performance.
MakeCohort also skips rows with invalid date formats.
Please remain the table headers in the top row of your data.

2 Upload CSV

Hit "Select CSV File..." and choose the file from your local machine.
3 Analyze!
Hit "Select CSV File..." and choose the file from your local machine.
- Go to the Cohort Chart section where you are doing your analysis.
- Select the properties (Period: Daily/Weekly..., Metric: Retention Rate...) you want to use for the analysis.
